Keep the Feds Off Our Meds Rally and Protest
In a memo, U.S. Attorney General, Jeff Sessions indicated he would victimize cannabis patients and cause public safety hazards by rolling back an Obama-era hands-off policy when it comes to state legal cannabis.
Now, Southern District of California U.S. Attorney Adam Braverman has said Sessions’ policy
“returns trust and local control to federal prosecutors to enforce the Controlled Substance Act.”
The voters have spoken and cannabis is legal in California.
Please join us in protesting this gross overstep outside of Braverman’s office at the Edward Schwartz Federal Building.
Nobody has the right to circumvent the will of the voting people, least of all law enforcement!
Come send the message,
“Keep the Feds Off Our Meds!”
SDASA has long been opposing federal interference into cannabis policy and we’ve amassed allies in the process. Former California Assembly Speaker pro tem and community organizer, Lori Saldaña will be on-hand as well as several other political candidates.
Lori is running against former District Attorney, Bonnie Dumanis for San Diego County Supervisor, District 4 and is a friend to patients, unlike Dumanis who has a terrible track record.
Come thank Lori and spank Braverman on your lunch hour with San Diego ASA!
