44th Annual New Brunswick Area Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Awards

“Steadfast and Immovable”

You are invited to attend the New Brunswick Area Branch NAACP’s 44th Annual Freedom Fund Scholarship Luncheon, as we continue our tradition of recognizing those persons in our community who work towards equal opportunity for all people.

This year, we are honored to have Ms. Jeannine Frisbe LaRue, founder of the well-known blog, LaRuelist Report, and Senior Vice President of the Kauman Zita Group, as our keynote speaker.

Ms. LaRue brings the power of connecting people and resources. She is a passionate advocate for service to our community.

We continue our tradition of recognizing those who work toward equal opportunity for all people. This year, from our community we honor:

• Vulcan Pioneers of New Brunswick, Community Service Award
• Ms. Aishia C. Dickerson: Corporate Diversity Service Award
• First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens: Leadership Award
• Ms. Yesenia Medina Hernandez: Health Advocacy Award
• Ms. Eva Nagy: Education Advocacy Award

The “early bird” discounted tickets are now on sale through Friday, September 22, 2017. The adult early-bird ticket price is $60 each; adult ticket prices will be $65 each, as of Saturday, September 23, 2017. Youth ticket prices – UNDER the age of 18 – are $35 each.
Please note seating will only be “reserved” for honorees and PRE-PAID group ticket purchases of eight (8) tickets. All other ticket sales will be “general” seating and not assigned. The price of tickets purchased at the door will be $70 each.

Thank you for your ongoing support, which enables the New Brunswick Area Branch of the NAACP to continue awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors from Middlesex and Somerset counties, as well as continue serving the community.
