Free screening of The Hunting Ground

The PPSWO Education Team is hosting a FREE screening of the powerful documentary film The Hunting Ground.

“The statistics are staggering. One in five women in college are sexually assaulted, yet only a fraction of these crimes are reported, and even fewer result in punishment for the perpetrators. From the intrepid team behind The Invisible War comes The Hunting Ground, a piercing, monumental exposé of rape culture on campuses, poised to light a fire under a national debate. In a tour de force of verité footage, expert insights, and first-person testimonies, the film follows undergraduate rape survivors pursuing both their education and justice, despite ongoing harassment and the devastating toll on them and their families.”

Directly following the film, we will facilitate discussion among the participants and process the film together. If you are not familiar with the film, you can view the trailer here: The Hunting Ground or you can learn more about the film by visiting the website: http://thehuntinggroundfilm.com/

The screening will be held in our Dayton office on Wednesday, January 17th starting at 4:00PM. PPSWO will provide snacks and beverages to all participants. Please feel free to pass this on how you see fit. Space is limited, RSVP today! Email sdahlston@ppswo.org or call 937-528-4662 to save your seat.
