Housing for All: A Town Hall Meeting

The housing crisis continues, and we continue to be priced out. The median rent for a one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco is $3,370 per month. The median home price was a whopping $1,500,000 in May, far more than the average family can afford. Meanwhile, evictions have continued to rise each year since 2010. Between March 2015 and February 2016, there were a whopping 2,134 evictions.

Community members have been calling for accountability from the mayor’s office on getting our voices heard, and are calling for funds and policies to keep hard-hit tenants and homeowners in the city.

An invitation has been extended to Mayor Lee to hear community members’ calls for accountability.
