SLO County Earth Day Fair

Mark your calendars!

Reclaim the power of the first Earth Day that took place in 1970. It is considered the beginning of the environmental movement and inspired Nixon to create the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Attend the 27th Annual SLO County Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

As with other Earth Day events across the nation, SLO County will include March for Science activities and Teach-ins. Check out the Green Car Show, Eco Marketplace, Kid’s Zone, and Action Alley.

Connect with organizations, businesses, government agencies, schools and students that are actively working to support a safe environment, economically sound and socially sustainable community.

Get involved, find solutions and take action for a better future.

Join in this day of activation and celebration! Listen to inspiring words and live performances by speakers and local musicians from two solar powered stages. Enjoy food, beverages with your neighbors.

When traveling to Earth Day make a statement. Ride your bike, take the bus or carpool. Park at Cuesta College and walk or ride the shuttle to El Chorro Regional Park.
