Derek Goodwin “Louisville Defiance” book launch

Please join us for the launch of Derek Goodwin’s “Louisville Defiance,” a book of Goodwin’s photomontage. Goodwin shows us the “spectrum of color and Possibility” in the art made in Louisville’s abandoned and forsaken spaces.

Goodwin writes “I am a Louisville resident, a citizen of possibility. My whole life… I have lived… That which was which is ever changing is the mind and the art of the street is the definition of possibility. Opportunity and possibility go hand-in-hand: there is no possibility without opportunity and there is no opportunity without possibility.”

garner narrative is proud to host this event as part of the 2017 Louisville Photo Biennial, which takes place September 22 – November 11 and features 50+ photography exhibitions – spanning traditional to contemporary, local to global work – at museums, galleries, universities, and cultural institutions throughout Louisville Metro, Southern Indiana, and surrounding communities.
