NY-11 Town Hall

Members of our community are troubled.

Decisions on the federal level are swiftly changing our country, and could soon have a huge impact on our lives. Health care, housing, immigration, trade, the environment, money in politics, and international relations are just some of the major issues that are now at stake.

Now more than ever, we need our representatives to hear our concerns. We need our Congressman, Dan Donovan to carefully consider the consequences of upcoming federal actions could (or already have) affect the lives of his constituents.

For months, we have been demanding a town hall with Representative Donavan (R) of District 11, but he has refused. If you are concerned about the direction of our country, we need your voice.

Members of our community have organized a community town hall to address the issues that Congressman Donovan will not. We have gathered a team of experts who can answer your questions and speak to the issues of the day.

The following organizations will participate:

The Alliance for Quality Education
The Arab-American Association of New York
The Association of Muslim-American Lawyers
The Jericho Project
Lambda Legal
Metro Health New York
The Metropolitan Council on Housing
The Natural Resources Defense Council
The National Institute for Reproductive Health
The NYC Action Group on Immigration
The NY Housing Conference
