Walk With Me / “Anti-semitism”
**child care is available**
Walk with me is a monthly series designed to educate members of our beloved Oak Park community about how to be courageous in the face of hate.
I desperately want to know how to stand up for the black child being handcuffed in the streets or the Latino young woman being harassed because she “may or may not be undocumented”.
Our next gathering is called “lesson from History” the topic is antisemitism.
With the uptick in hate crimes and aggressive acts, come together and learn the tools to be an upstander, who stands up instead of sitting idly by.
We will offer a training on how to respond to situations we may witness in private and public settings and will give us tools and ideas for deescalation and productive intervention.
