J20 One Year Later
Since the election of Donald Trump, acts of racist violence have proliferated across the United States. Racists and misogynists feel emboldened to express and act on their views. White nationalist groups and resurgent traditional white supremacist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan have used Trumps victory to gain new recruits. All that stands in their way are the groups of anarchists and anti-state communists who have taken it upon themselves to prevent fascism from becoming a powerful political force in the United States.
The repercussions of the Trump regime have been deeply felt and far reaching throughout the year. From the over 200 people charged with felonies for peacefully protesting on Trump’s first day in office, to the sweeping changes in ICE enforcement. We have brought together speakers from multiple aspects of the radical and leftist community to talk about our various responses to the struggles of the past year.
Join RIAN and Finger Lakes Redneck Revolt for a screening of the new “Antifa” documentary, as well as a panel of local activists for an update on how our community has grown and responded to the threat of the current administration.
